Shon W. Harris is a dedicated technologist and ultra-geek with over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry.
He joins Spot by NetApp after almost a decade working in cloud-native roles such as Principal Cloud Architect and DevOps Engineering Lead, where he transformed complex software packages and processes into a cloud-first mindset. He built secure, highly available systems that enhanced how customers, regardless of size or industry segment, run their businesses. Shon also has a background in digital forensics and incident response.
Shon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with an Emphasis in Law and Politics, a Minor in Campaign Management, and a Master of Science in Information Systems with an emphasis in Information Security and data management from The University of Utah. He also has multiple industry certifications from AWS, Microsoft, and others.
When he isn't playing with Kubernetes Clusters, or having his head in the AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Clouds, you can probably find him outside tinkering with his overlanding build, or in the mountains camping.
